Our Beliefs

Jesus Mission adheres to the following Statement of faith,

1. The Bible
We believe in the Holy Bible, the only word of God determining all doctrinal truths. The Bible is the inerrant, inspired and infallible written word which has authority for faith and life.

2. Trinity
We believe, there is one true God, eternally existing in three persons. Father, Son and the Holy Spirit. They are Coequal and Co-eternal.

3. Jesus Christ
We believe, that Jesus Christ is God the Son, the second person of Trinity, who became flesh through His miraculous conception by the Holy Spirit and His virgin birth. He is the only man ever to have lived a sinless life. He died on the cross for us, shedding His precious blood, rose from the dead on the 3rd. Day, ascended to the right hand of the Father, intercedes for us and will return in Power and Glory.

4. Holy Spirit
We believe in the baptism of Holy Spirit, which is the promise from the Father, sent by Jesus after His ascension to empower the church, to preach the Gospel through a variety of spiritual gifts to build and sanctify the church, to demonstrate the validity of the resurrection and confirm the power of the Gospel. Hence, He sanctifies empowers, teaches, guides and comforts us.

5. Salvation
We believe that salvation is wholly a work of God’s free grace and is not the work, in whole or in part, of human works or goodness or religious ceremony. God imputed His righteousness to those who put their faith in Christ alone for their salvation and thereby justified them in His sight.

6. Baptism
We believe that all of God’s people are to be buried with our Lord Jesus Christ in the waters of baptism, subsequent to conversion.

7. Eternity
We believe in eternity, that at physical death, the believer enters into eternal, conscious fellowship with the Lord and awaits the resurrection of the body to everlasting glory and blessing.

8. Church
We believe that Jesus Christ is the Head of the Church, His body, which is composed of all people, living and dead, who have been joined to Him through saving faith. God admonishes His people to assemble regularly for worship for participation in ordinances, for edification through the scriptures and for mutual encouragement.

9. Prayer
We believe that prayer brings victory and can break all the strongholds. We get access to God in prayer through Lord Jesus Christ.

10. Resurrection and the Second Coming
We believe, that Jesus Christ was physically Resurrected from the dead in a glorified body three days after His death on the cross. He will physically and visibly return to the earth to establish His kingdom. This will occur at a date undisclosed by the scriptures.
